About

ZHANG received his Bachelor degree in Department of Physics from Tsinghua University in 2018 and his PhD in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 2023, followed by a postdoctoral training at Singapore-MIT Alliance of Research and Technology and Tsinghua University before joining CUHK in 2025. His research interests focus on scattering optical inspection for biosensing, nanometrology, and manufacturing. He has published his work in high-profile journals, including Science, Nature Communications, Light: Science and Applications, Optics Letters, etc.
