About

Xin Shu received her B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering and Information from Sichuan University in 2017 and her Ph.D. degree in Biomedical Engineering from The Chinese University of Hong Kong in 2023, where she was supported by the Hong Kong PhD Fellowship Scheme. Prior to her appointment as a Research Assistant Professor, she was a Postdoctoral Fellow at CUHK. Her research integrates optical computing and quantitative phase imaging for biomedical applications and nanometrology. Her work has been published in IEEE Transactions on Pattern Analysis and Machine Intelligence, Advanced Intelligent Systems, and Photonics Research, among others. She is an inventor on a granted U.S. patent arising from her research. She also received Best Paper Awards at the 2024 IEEE International Conference on Computational Photography (ICCP).
