About

Xin Shu received her B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering and Information from Sichuan University in 2017 and her Ph.D. degree in Biomedical Engineering from The Chinese University of Hong Kong in 2023, supported by the Hong Kong PhD Fellowship Scheme. Before joining the faculty, she served as a Postdoctoral Fellow in the Department of Biomedical Engineering at CUHK. Her research integrates computational optics, optical computing, and quantitative phase imaging for biomedical applications and nanometrology. Her work has been published in IEEE Transactions on Pattern Analysis and Machine Intelligence, Advanced Intelligent Systems, and Photonics Research, etc. She holds a granted U.S. patent and received Best Paper Awards at IEEE ICCP 2024.
