About
CHENG received his Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering from Sun Yat-sen University in 2018 and his Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering from The Chinese University of Hong Kong in 2022, followed by industrial experience at MGI and postdoctoral training at CUHK. His research interests focus on active microfluidic systems for precise droplet manipulation, rapid molecular diagnostics, and single-cell analysis. He has published his work in leading journals, including Advanced Materials, Chemical Society Reviews, Science Advances, Small, Microsystems & Nanoengineering, and ACS Applied Materials & Interfaces, and was honored with the CBMS Young Researcher Award at the 25th µTAS conference.
